Doctor of technical sciences in the field of geodesy and cartography. UAV pilot and instructor. A long-time research and teaching employee at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, lecturer at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków and the Air Force Academy in Dęblin. Author and co-author of over 50 scientific publications and expert opinions. Contractor and co-contractor of research and development projects and grants. He collaborated with scientists from Michigan Technological University in the USA and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya- BarcelonaTECH in Spain.
Co-author of 11 applications to the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, the European Union Office for Intellectual Property and the World Intellectual Property Organization.
Implementer and co-implementer of 27 implementations related to the use of unmanned technologies, engineering measurements and photogrammetric data processing.
