A new article entitled “Final Report on key comparison EURAMET.M.G-K2.2023 of absolute gravimeters” has been published in the scientific journal “Metrology” (DOI 10.1088/0026-1394/62/1A/07022). The co-authors of this publication are employees of the Center for Geodesy and Geodynamics Dr. Przemysław Dykowski and Dr. Adam Ciesielski.
The article is the result of the analysis of the results obtained during a comparison of absolute gravimeters supervised by EURAMET, which took place in Germany at the Geodetic Observatory Wettzell in the period of May and June 2024. IGiK employees participated in the comparison with the absolute quantum gravimeter AQG-B07. Such comparisons are a fundamental element in ensuring the quality and traceability of global gravimetric measurements.
