IGiK researchers’ article selected as Editor’s Choice

The scientific article titled “A Semi-Automated RGB-Based Method for Wildlife Crop Damage Detection Using QGIS-Integrated UAV Workflow,” authored by Sebastian Andrzej Banaszek and Michał Szota, has been selected as an Editor’s Choice Article in the journal Sensors.

The publication presents a semi-automated method for detecting wildlife-induced crop damage using RGB imagery acquired from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and analytical tools integrated with the QGIS software environment. The proposed workflow enables efficient processing of photogrammetric data and supports the inventory and assessment of agricultural damage.
