Competition for the position of professor at the Institute of Geodesy and Cartography

The Institute of Geodesy and Cartography announces a competition for the position of professor.

Requirements for candidates:

• Hold a professorship in civil engineering and transport or earth and environmental sciences.

• Experience in managing a research team (at least 2 years).

• Documented publications in international journals.

• Active participation in international and national conferences.

• Scientific activity on the international arena.

• Fluent knowledge of English.

The candidate’s application should include:

Information clause

In accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC – hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”, we hereby inform you that:

The Administrator has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) – Mr. Paweł Maliszewski, who can be contacted in all matters relating to the processing of personal data via e-mail: iod@perfectinfo.pl.

Personal data will be processed for the purpose of recruitment for the indicated job position as part of activities aimed at concluding a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR) and fulfilling the obligations incumbent on the Administrator under the law (Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR), i.e. the Act of June 26, 1974 – Labor Code and the Act of April 30, 2010 on research institutions, as well as on the basis of consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).

Personal data may be stored for a period of 3 years after the recruitment process has been completed.

If you agree, the data will be processed for future recruitment, including for other positions.

The recipients of personal data may be entities providing IT, legal, and consulting services to the Controller on the basis of relevant agreements, as well as entities authorized to receive them on the basis of applicable law.

Under the terms of the GDPR, job applicants have the right to: access their data, request its rectification, deletion or restriction of processing; withdraw their consent to data processing at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal; lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw), if they consider that the processing of personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.

Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary for the proper performance of all activities related to the recruitment process and the possible conclusion of an employment contract.

Personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.

Personal data will not be transferred outside the European Union or to international organizations.

If you consent to the processing of your personal data after the recruitment process for future recruitment purposes, please include the following consent statement in your application documents:
