On 13 November 2025, the conference titled “Climate Risks in the Agricultural Sector” was held, organised by the Ministry of Climate and Environment.
The event, dedicated to the key challenges facing Polish agriculture, attracted considerable interest — the online conference gathered as many as 160 participants.
At the invitation of the organisers, the Institute was represented by Prof. Katarzyna Dąbrowska-Zielińska.
Professor Dąbrowska-Zielińska delivered a presentation entitled: “Application of Meteorological and Satellite Data Fusion in Monitoring Agricultural Drought in Poland.”
The presentation received highly positive feedback and highlighted the Institute’s leading role in applying modern Earth observation techniques to effectively monitor and mitigate the impacts of agricultural drought.
