IMAGE-UP Prepares Reference Data Acquisition Campaigns

Reference data acquisition campaigns are being prepared within the IMAGE-UP project for selected test areas.

Locations representing agriculture, urban environments, urban heat islands, critical infrastructure, and flood-prone areas were selected. The availability of Sentinel-2 data and very high-resolution imagery was analysed, and consultations on the acquisition of Pleiades data were initiated.

Assumptions for UAV campaigns involving the acquisition of RGB and thermal data were also developed.
