Satellite monitoring of agricultural drought and crop reduction

Satellite monitoring of agricultural drought and crop reduction
The team monitors agricultural drought and crop yield declines by analyzing changes in plant growth conditions, moisture levels, and yield potential. It also conducts analyses of crop conditions in various regions, including the Wielkopolska Province at the JECAM research site. Risks such as plant freezing, damage to agricultural crops, and snow cover are studied, enabling effective forecasting and better risk management in agriculture. We also create statistical information services on agricultural production in Poland and systems supporting the monitoring of crop growth conditions.
