How to get there

3rd GIONET Summer School is held at the Institute of Geodesy and Cartography (IGiK) in Warsaw.
The address: 27 Modzelewskiego St, 02-679, Warsaw (marked on the map below).

FLIGHTS:
flights to Warsaw arrive at the Chopin Airport, located in the southern part of the city.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT FROM THE CHOPIN AIRPORT TO BELWEDERSKI HOTEL: LINK

For public transport (bus/tram/metro) you should buy the ticket in advance in one of the airport newspaper kiosks or in a vending machine located at the airport (SEE LINK).

Full ticket price-list is available LINK. We recommend you to buy 3-day pass (Standard price, Zone 1) - 30,00 PLN. The tickets become valid when are punched in a yellow box located inside the bus/tram.

From Warsaw Chopin Airport: get on a Route 188 bus, get off at “Metro Politechnika” bus stop, take a Route 131 bus to get off at “Spacerowa” bus stop, and walk towards Belweder along Belwederska Street.

Walk from Hotel to bus stop SPACEROWA 04
Take bus 167 direction CHOMICZÓWKA (końcowy). Other possible bus 119, 168.
Get off at  METRO POLE MOKOTOWSKIE 02 (3. stop)
Take bus 174 direction Boserska and get off at SMOLUCHOWSKIEGO 01 (9. stop)
Walk about 3 min (110 m in a straight line in the direction of travel)
