Seminar devoted to the presentation of a website based on Copernicus products and services for the needs of agricultural agencies in Poland

Added on: 29 April 2024

On behalf of the Institute of Geodesy and Cartography, the Remote Sensing Center invites you to participate in the online seminar 08/05/2024 from 10.00 to 12.30.

The seminar is devoted to the presentation of a website based on Copernicus products and services for the needs of agricultural agencies in Poland, in particular the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture (ARiMR) and the National Center for Agricultural Support (KOWR). This action aims to accelerate the implementation of data and services provided by the Copernicus program by two national executive agencies of the Ministry of Agriculture: ARiMR and KOWR, as well as by regional and local agencies established to support the agricultural sector in Poland. There is a great need for the implementation of satellite data by agricultural agencies in Poland to enable them to support individual farmers in reducing the negative impact of severe droughts and frosts and other natural hazards that are caused by climate change.

Participation in the seminar is open to everyone –  registration form

The number of places is limited.

A certificate of participation is provided for each seminar participant.
