The Remote Sensing Center is recruiting for the position of a Satellite Data Programming and Processing Specialist
On behalf of the Institute of Geodesy and Cartography, I hereby announce the recruitment of candidates for the position of Specialist for programming and processing of satellite data at the Remote Sensing Center at the Institute of Geodesy and Cartography in Warsaw.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF OFFERS: 25/04/2022
Main tasks:
- preparation of tools for the automation of satellite data processing,
- programming of algorithms,
- big data processing and analysis,
- presentation of research results,
- statistical analyzes.
Requirements:
- higher education or students of the 5th year of science or studies related to natural and technical sciences,
- preparation of tools for the automation of satellite data processing,
- knowledge of remote sensing and GIS,
- knowledge of software intended for remote sensing and GIS analyzes (SNAP, ArcGIS, QGIS),
- knowledge of the construction of databases and SQL language,
- experience in the use of learning algorithms and computing clouds is welcome,
- fluent knowledge of English at a level enabling communication and reading industry literature, reading and creating documentation,
- scientific publications are welcome.
An additional advantage will be:
- participation in research in the field of GIS and remote sensing,
- ability to create reports and reports,
- ability to conduct activities related to the promotion of project results.
