Scientists for IGIK received funding from the OCRE Earth Observation Services Funding for Research for the project: AI4EOLand Monitor: Landcover change detection and derivation of “green” indicators of human well-being based on Copernicus EO data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms.

The project is placed in the Earth Science discipline, in the land cover, agriculture and forestry research field. Thanks to OCRE and CREODIAS platform provided by the CloudFerro, we will be able to speed up the computation of EO data, to scale up the research and deliver much faster the reliable EO based products to the user. The project is led by Agata Hościło, Assoc. Prof in the Centre of Applied Geomatics at IGiK.
