Institute of Geodesy and Cartography as the only research center in Poland conducts research projects on the geomagnetic field and its long-term changes in Poland.
Polish network of magnetic stations is one of the oldest in Europe. It is set in the 1950s and since then, every 2-3 years, the measurements of 3D vector of magnetic field are systematically performed. A collection of more than 60-years data series, it is an excelent basis for research on the geomagnetic field and its changes.
