MSc Martyna Poławska

Martyna Poławska is graduated from the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies at the University of Warsaw. For her bachelor's thesis, she analyzed changes of the Vistula channel morphometry, near Warsaw in the peroid 1843-2015. She completed her master's studies in the specialization of geoecology and geomorphology. Her MSc thesis is focused on the impact of floodblank on textural features of alluvium in a lowland river, on the example of the Vistula near Warsaw.

She is currently a doctoral student at the Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences at the University of Warsaw in the discipline of earth and related environmental sciences. She studies the river channel dynamics of an embanked lowland river: the case study of the Middle Vistula River Valley.
