MSc Sebastian Florczyk
Msc Sebastian Florczyk is a graduate of the Faculty of Geographical Sciences, majoring in Geoinformation, at the University of Łódź. His bachelor's thesis was devoted to the analysis of land cover changes in the Nowosolna estate in Lodz in the years 1973-2013 using GIS. The master's thesis concerned the analysis of the functional and spatial structure of the city of Brzeziny using GIS. It includes traditional elements of research on the functional and spatial structure of the city, as well as original proposals for the use of GIS techniques in this research.
He started his professional career in 2019 by working in a geodetic company dealing with the modernization and updating of the Land and Building Register, preparing an orthophotomap using aerial photos and satellite scenes. In 2020-2021, he worked as a junior specialist for databases and spatial analyzes at the Central Communication Port. From September 2021 to August 2023, he was employed as a report and analysis specialist at the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture.
