PhD Aneta Modzelewska

PhD Aneta Modzelewska graduated from the University of Warsaw with a degree in geography (specialization in geoinformatics and remote sensing) and completed her doctoral studies in forest sciences at the Forest Research Institute. In December 2021, she earned a doctoral degree in the discipline of forest sciences. Her dissertation was entitled: "Multitemporal airborne hyperspectral data to derive tree species composition in complex temperate forests. She specializes in applications of hyperspectral data in forest condition studies".

Previously, she worked at the Forest Research Institute as a remote sensing specialist in several projects: LIFE+ ForBioSensing PL Comprehensive monitoring of stand dynamics in Białowieża Forest supported with remote sensing techniques, Monitoring of natural habitats including the Natura 2000 special habitat conservation areas, and Establishment of a forest information system for monitoring and evaluation of forest condition for the Sudetes and Western Beskid areas.
