MSc Aneta Lewandowska
MSc Aneta Lewandowska is graduated from the Department of Geography and Regional Studies - University of Warsaw, and from the Digital Geodesy - University of Warmia and Mazury.
She started her professional career dealing with implementation and support of remote sensing data in GIS systems and spatial analyses. She has over 10 years of experience in cartography. As a cartographer-editor, she has been involved in editorial development of paper and digital maps, plans and atlases, as well as relief visualization and visibility analyses. She also has experience in working with EMUiA, EGiB, BDOT and BDL databases.
She has been working at IGIK since September 2014. She has participated in the work of the Remote Sensing Environmental Hazards Research Laboratory and the CT Radar Research Laboratory. She uses her experience in spatial data analysis and processing in GIS systems. She has increased her professional competence with skills and knowledge in processing radar images and lidar data.
Currently her duties include acquisition, processing, integration and analysis of data from various sources. The main areas of professional activity are focused on issues related to the detection and analysis of the effects of natural hazards, including fires and hurricanes, analysis of land cover changes and the study of changes in forests, also in historical perspective.
